Celtic Drawing Tutorials

Celtic knot work is a type of design work that is based on a pattern weaving over and under itself. Celtic knot work generally is one long strand that is continuous although some advanced patterns don't comply with this rule. In my opinion, Celtic knot work is aesthetically pleasing and is open to many different pattern styles and arrangements and influences.

Below is a list of tutorials I have written on how to draw various Celtic knot work bands, circles and the Triquetra. I have worked out a mathematical way of setting out your drawings to accurately achieve successful Celtic knot work every time. If you have any questions about the tutorials, let me know. If you found a tutorial helpful, please leave a comment.

The Celtic knot tutorials I have provided here are free, all I ask is that if you want to reference the tutorials, don't copy and paste the tutorial, create a link to it. Thanks.
